More than fifty university students will talk about their commitment in the community of Cesena, born from the collaboration between universities and different social realities in the area.

The Service Learning project activated by the Community Psychology Laboratory – Department of Psychology of the University of Bologna (Cesena Campus) is now in its fourth edition.

This year the students, in addition to telling what is formative in making a curricular experience of civic commitment, will let other people try…the event not a conference, not an exhibition, not a fair but something in between an opportunity to understand what doing a Service Learning project means in practice.

Prof. Cinzia Albanesi, head of the Community Psychology Laboratory of the University of Bologna who works on the Service Learning project, said: “We have invited the schools, voluntary organizations and social cooperatives of the city and neighboring areas because it could be the right opportunity to understand if this project is right for them and start new collaborations with the University “. “Yes, we are interested in expanding the network of our partners and bringing the University, and its research and innovation potential where it is needed. In March, a Service Learning laboratory will be offered to more students in Unibo, and this summer Unibo students will be able to have a residential Service-Learning experience.

The initiative, free and open to the public, will take place at AUSER-Cesena (Corso Ubaldo Comandini 7) on January 30, 2020, from 10.00 to 13.00. More information
