Territory and landscape: territorial projects.

This S-L experience is developed in an optional subject of the Architecture Degree. Students work on the practical part of the subject (3 ECTS) in territories that present particular territorial dynamics and landscapes. In contact and interaction with the territorial agents of each area, the aim is to provide possible solutions to the arrangement and management of the corresponding landscapes. The work of the students is based on the analysis of the territory, field work and the development of proposals to improve the quality of the landscape. The students work in groups that focus on specific and particular aspects of the municipalities they work with. Each academic year works in different territorial areas and problems, changing the community partners. Some of the community partners have been: Riudecols Town Hall, Pinell de Brai Town Hall, Tarragona Chemical Business Association, Institute of Valls Studies, Plataforma Salvem la Platja Llarga i el bosc de la Marquesa, La Canonja 3. People, Landscape, Sustainability, Consortium for the preservation of the agricultural landscape of the Alt Camp rainfed plain, Assembly Stop BCN World, GEPEC, Barri Immaculada Residents Association, Association for the Defense of the Territory and Heritage of Riudecols (DELTERPA), La Canonja School, Renau Town Hall, La Sínia Environmental Association, Association of Friends of the Naturist Torn Beach.
