Success cases of entrepreneurial refugee women

ACCEM, an Spanish organization working with/for Refugees asked us to collect and present in an attractive way successful stories of refugee women which had set up small business in Spain. The idea behind is to motivate and encourage a group of Syrian women recently arrived to Spain to start their own small businesses. We did it as part of a Master module in Economics and Entrepreneurship for development.

Also, we prepared a quick guide for setting up small businesses in Spain. The students working in groups, get in touch with the women, conducted some focus group research and fieldwork and made some short videos. Individually they presented a short, free format memory reflecting about their learning and their personal reflection
