The NGO Rescue is a non-profit organization that aims to help Syrian refugees, particularly women. The aim of this project is to provide these people with a job through the creation of a company that makes the famous soaps from the Syrian city of Aleppo. The women will work in the creation of the soap for this purpose we will rent premises and look for possible sources of funding to pay for the initial expenses involved. The purpose of this project is also to help the NGO Rescue to be financially independent, and thus be able to perform all projects.
The aim of this project is to help, thanks to the NGO Rescue, these Syrian women to get a decent job in our country. In this way, it will be more likely that, when the situation in their country improves, they will be able to return to their homes, with their relatives, friends, neighbours, acquaintances.
We want to create a social enterprise in Madrid in which these women create the famous soap of the Syrian city of Aleppo to be able to market it in our country. We would like to be able to sell it to supermarkets, herbalists and it would even be a good idea for hotels to install the product in their rooms, if only for a few months a year, in order to give their guests the opportunity to collaborate in this beautiful project.
The profits will be used entirely to pay the salaries of these people and to improve their lifestyle in Madrid and to keep this social enterprise alive.
This project has been carried out by four students from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE). This personal experience has helped us to get closer to the world of consulting and to grow a little bit more professionally, collaborating with a good cause and helping people who really need it.
