Amis Social Insertion is a non-profit entity created in 1991 with the mission of facilitating the social integration of young people at risk of loss or deprivation of both physical and psychological well-being. It is located in the Elipa neighbourhood in Madrid.
The process of social integration is carried out in several steps, starting with the first contact through an individual interview to collect the demand and carry out an analysis / diagnosis establishing the objectives and designing the personalized itinerary of insertion with each person. In addition, to facilitate access to the different resources (training, health, employment, etc.), they provide ongoing advice.
They also help these people in the job placement process, which can be very difficult in some cases (illiterate, cultural). For this they help to know the current labour market, design the professional profile, access tools for job search, prepare individual and group job interviews, contact companies and acquire knowledge about basic labour legislation, thus reducing the vulnerability to which face in the work environment.
On the other hand, they carry out training through workshops and activities on different topics, all tailored to their individual needs. On the other hand, throughout the process they offer psycho-psychological support to all these people.
